Continuing the series based on the words of John 3:16, this morning’s service takes the theme of “The World”.
Reference was made to “What a wonderful world” and being a “light of the world”.
OSM URC recently held an evening event entitled “Not the men’s breakfast” where those gathered had an enjoyable evening of frenetic table-tennis and brain-bending challenges with board and puzzle games. We also enjoyed a pasty’n’chip supper together. Proceeds from the evening have totaled £60 which will be given to the Ottery Abide project, supporting a Syrian refugee family in Ottery.

The Holy Communion was also held during this service.
Graham Harry of the Ottery 06 Project delivered the morning service using the theme of “Education Sunday”. Included in the sermon was an interesting story regarding Jelly Babies.
